High Tea | Have a nice cup of tea with friends or family. Take in the warm scent of a fresh cup of tea and enjoy the delicious high tea snacks in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere.
Besides the freshly prepared and delicious snacks, we offer a true tea experience with the herbs from coffee and tea retail company the Goeijen. The taste and scent of the tea blends are fully optimised by the means of a tea strainer.
THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL A UNIQUE AND AUTHENTIC TEA ENJOYMENT AS HOW IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE!
AFTERNOON HIGH TEA
The Afternoon High Tea consists of sweet and savoury snacks and a width choice of different sorts of fresh tea served with: lemon, honey and mint.
Sweet: mini muffins, cheesecake, chocolate brownies, apple-vanilla mini cakes, mini beignets with red fruit, artisanal homemade scones with mascarpone and marmalade, cake from ‘the abbey’ with with La Trappe Quadrupel, dairy butter cookies and Belgian chocolates.
Savoury: Wraps with smoked salmon, mesclun, cream cheese and mustard-dill sauce, mini sandwiches with beef carpaccio and with egg-chive salad. A little bowl of soup and quiche.

HIGH WINE
The High Wine is the savoury variant of the High Tea with wine instead of a cup of tea. You have the possibility to drink three glasses of wine. You can choose between our red, white or rose house wines. The served white wines are: Pont Neuf, Prestige Blanc; Louise la Poule, Chardonnay/Colombard; Camina, Verdejo. The rose wines are Camina, Tempranillo Rosado and Solval, Grenache/Cinsault. The red wines are: Camina, Cabernet Sauvignon en Les Estines, Merlot/Cabernet.
The High Wine includes delicious freshly prepared snacks from our own kitchen. It starts with a basket of bread served with garlic butter and tapenade. Furthermore, black olives marinated in herbs and garlic cannot be missed. What else? A plate with Val Dieu and Père Joseph abbey cheese. Charcuterie of the premium pig from a Monastery in the province Limburg with dried chorizo sausage, meat from the neck of the premium pig, bacon, fruit bread filled with hazelnuts and raisins, grapes and fig jam. Lastly, different sorts of bruschetta’s with beef carpaccio and salmon.

HIGH BEER
The High Beer tasting consists of 3 beers. U can choose from the extensive range of Trappist beers of which three of them are draft beers. Besides that, there is the possibility to taste other special beer of different brands. Or do you rather prefer a draft beer? The High Beer comes with delicious savoury snacks which are freshly prepared in our kitchen. It starts with a basket of bread served with garlic butter and black olives marinated in herbs and garlic. Furthermore, a plate with Val Dieu and Père Joseph abbey cheese. Charcuterie of the premium pig from a Monastery in the province Limburg with dried chorizo sausage, meat from the neck of the premium pig, bacon, fruit bread filled with hazelnuts and raisins, grapes and fig jam. What else? Different sorts of bruschetta’s with beef carpaccio and salmon. Do not forget the famous Dutch ‘bitterballen’ which are prepared with Trappist beer!
Are you a vegetarian? That is no problem at all. Mention this when you make a reservation and we keep it into account. Do you still have to drive or do you not drink alcohol for another reason? With no doubt can you choose a non-alcoholic beer or another non-alcoholic drink.
